Love and Basketball is a romantic drama film. It was directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. It takes place in Los Angeles,CA with two people growing up loving basketball and eventually loving eachother. The stars in this movie is Omar Epps (Quincy) and Sanaa Lathan (Monica). Both of there dreams was to play professional basketball when they get out of college. Quincy was already the son of a NBA legend and Monica had to work hard to establish herself. Both actors were great in this movie and they played the role well.The lighting and other effects were also perfect. This movie is great for teens. I would have to say 15 and up instead of 13 years old. The slow music goes perfect with each event that happens in the movie. It had some ups and downs but it would still be something I recommend to see if you haven’t seen it already.
